I was kindly taken in at this beautiful find campsite at last minute as I had exhaust problems and a flat tyre on my way back from Scotland for my 40th birthday. It got to dusk and I thought I had better book somewhere quick online. When I arrived I was helped over the phone and welcomed through the gate very easily. The tent space and the facilities are fabulous and the nature noises of the owls and bat’s at night, and the birds in the morning along with rabbits and hedgehogs friends surrounding my tent that night, wow just totally amazing n sheer bliss. I felt like Snow White in her woods surrounded by animal friends Out of my 5 night trip that was by far the best night of them all. And in the morning meeting the lovely man from the garage and a friendly chat with other people there I felt that comfy I wanted to stay another night or 2, but I had 5 teens waiting for me to cook for them at home. I want to thank the hosts for having me with me not being in the Caravan and Camping Club and if possible I would absolutely love to move I mean stay there again. Thank you for your kindness and such beautifully clean amenities. x

And here we go again.. another great season at Burrows has passed. We are already waiting to coming back in Spring. I’ve have never seen ourselves as people coming back to the same campsite for more than one time. But here we go… fourth amazing season. It must be something amazing about this place. We love this site, the owners and staff are excellent and very welcoming and we have made some amazing friends there. Top site!!! Xxx

We’ve been back for our second year, the weather wasn’t so kind this time unfortunately but we still had a lovely time, and it was over too soon. My husband and I found your staff to be very friendly and helpful, a credit to you. We’ll see you again soon no doubt.

We have spent another wonderful weekend at Burrows Park, it is so relaxing and friendly, all the staff we have encountered at the park are really friendly and helpful. We are back again soon and really looking forward to another chilled weekend. Can’t wait to get a seasonal pitch.

Hi All, we stayed here for the weekend and we loved it! It’s in a nice little village and the park was just right, so peaceful and lovely people there as well. I do like the church bell’s going for every hour which for me is just right adding that country feeling. I will be going back again. Just right.

We stayed here for a long weekend for the bank holiday weekend, it was brilliant! We really enjoyed it and cannot wait to go back. The sites facilities are so clean and modern, it has a bath so my youngest was very pleased as she hates the shower. It is a very friendly site and close to lots of places with a short drive, we went to York on Saturday and then to Mother Shiptons Cave on Sunday the kids loved it. I have already recommended this site to a few of my friends and we will definitely be back.

Had a lovely stay at Burrows Park this Bank Holiday Weekend. It was a great location to meet up with friends from across the country. Staff and fellow campers were friendly, informative and welcoming. The site was quiet despite having a few large groups. Toilet and shower facilities were clean and modern. Gazebo, children, dog and fire pit friendly 🙂
If you are wondering what is nearby; on Saturday we visited Harrogate and Harlow Carr, (Fat Rascals all round!) which are both a 20 min drive away. On Sunday we walked from the campsite to have a picnic by the River Ouse in Lower Dunsforth (lovely 8 mile round trip) followed by a curry in Boroughbridge. Weather wasn’t as great on Monday so we packed up and had an amazing lunch at The Anchor in Whixley, after we had stocked up on supplies for the week at Tancred Farm Shop!

A group of friends and I stayed here over bank holiday weekend. It was a lovely campsite. Really well kept, clean, great showers. Everyone on the campsite was friendly and there was plenty of space to camp away if you want space.

Lovely secluded campsite in the middle of the Countryside. You don’t have to go far to be on a lovely walk. It is also a really nice village.

Be warned the local pub – the Crown Inn has closed.

Would camp here again.

We’ve had a pitch here for 4 years now, it’s our little patch of Yorkshire.

The work done on site over the last 12 months has transformed the site from a field to something a little more picturesque.

But……shush…….don’t tell anyone, it’s one of Yorkshire’s best kept secrets!

David & Pat Riley

We have had a pitch on this site for over 5 years.
The last year we have seen a vast transformation and all for the good.

I have Parkinson’s disease and I can honestly say staying here relaxes me almost as good as my tablets.
Your batteries are recharged in no time.
You can also relax by taking a very pleasant stroll through the village to the local pub, and have your favourite tipple and a bite to eat.
Yes Burrows Park is the site for me!

We always enjoy staying here.  It is a peaceful, clean and tidy campsite. We have been coming to Great Ouseburn for 28 years.
